What to Expect:
These are three fun packed days of accessible adventure activities right here in Cincinnati. Whether you're doing one of these activities for the first time, or you consider yourself an expert climber, kayaker, or outdoor guide, you're sure to have an awesome time.
On our first day, we'll spend some time getting to know one another in the group as well as go over important safety instructions.
For our kayaking adventure, expect a paddle down the Little Miami river that takes several hours, depending upon how fast the river is flowing. You can take a dip from the shore and explore the river. We'll provide lunch and drinks part way down the river.
For our indoor Rock climbing adventure, we'll be partnering with Mosaic Climbing gym for a full day of climbing. The gym staff will help with gear fitting and safety instructions. We'll split the group up depending upon availability level, and help everyone have an awesome time regardless of ability level. We'll have lunch provided as well.
Our outdoor adventure day will include hiking, exploring creeks, games, hammocking and other outdoor activities. We'll provide lunch, snacks, and drinks on this day as well.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I can't be there for all three days?
Let us know if you have a schedule conflict. If you let us know with enough advanced notice, we can reduce the registration cost for you.
What if I have specific dietary preferences?
No problem! Just let us know about these on your registration application and we'd be happy to accommodate you.
What if I don't know anyone else who's going on these adventures?
It's always nice to know someone else going into these kind of things, but don't worry! At the beginning we'll spend time getting to know one another's names and a little bit about each other. Each day we'll do introductions again and will also have time to spend getting to know other people at meal times. Our guides are intentional at helping it feel natural for us all to be included either as a large group or smaller individual groups.
What if there is a medical emergency?
Our guides are equipped with CPR and First Aid Certification. We carry a thorough first aid kit and have tons of experience assessing and treating minor injuries in the field. For more serious injuries or accidents, we carry a means of communication to contact emergency services and also have the support of the 3rd party entities to respond to a medical emergency.
What if there's bad weather?
We may adjus the activities that we do on certain days if it is looking like bad weather. We'll send updates about any change in meeting locations, if we need to adjust the schedule due to weather. In the event that the weather doesn't allow us to be outside or on the river, will we have specific alternative rain plans that we will communicate to the group as soon as we've made a decision about safety in regards to the forecasted weather.
