Marriage is always a journey but can sometimes feel like walking the same circles over and over again. Step away from your life's rhythms and give your marriage a chance to break out of the routine by joining us for this retreat weekend.
Through sharing experiences, trying something new, challenging yourself and supporting one another, this weekend will give couples an opportunity to step into refreshing moments of connection and learning with one another.
Collin Rhoade, MA, LPCC (co-founder of Inner Trek) will guide couples through teaching times, that include skills and resources, and experiential activities for couples throughout the weekend.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Is this marriage counseling?
While this experience is led by a licensed therapist, it is not a weekend of marriage counseling. All the activities, conversation prompts and resources are intentionally selected for meaningful marriage support. We will be offering support and encouragement throughout the weekend, but this weekend retreat is not therapy and should not be considered as an alternative to couples or marriage counseling.
We've only been married a week OR We've been married for 30 years. Is this weekend for us?
Couples of all ages and seasons of marriage are welcome to join! If you've been married for weeks or decades, there is always more to learn and experience with each other.
Will we have to share or speak in front of a large group?
While there will be teaching times conducted in a group setting and opportunities to share in a large group, the weekend is designed to reinforce communication and time focused on you as a couple. You'll never be forced to share in a large group. Casual conversation and interaction between couples will take place during meal times and during some activities.
Do I need to be physically fit for the activities?
The activities for couples to complete together will require a moderate amount of movement and ability to walk on nature trails. No strenuous, dangerous or technical activities will be included.
